The main contributor to the Miracle Blog will be the Voice of the Miracle – Alex Margulies. Margulies is in the midst of his first season with Fort Myers as the play-by-play broadcaster for all 140 regular season games on www.miraclebaseball.com – with Monday games carried throughout SWFL on 770 ESPN Radio.

Alex joined the Miracle in February after spending last winter working for the Florida Winter Baseball League, and last summer for the Outer Banks Daredevils of the Coastal Plain League.

He is a 2009 graduate of the University of Miami, where he served as one of the lead play-by-play broadcasters for Hurricanes football, baseball, and men’s and women’s basketball on WVUM-FM for three years. While in college, Alex had a chance to work behind the scenes of all of the main professional sports teams – the Miami Heat, Dolphins, Florida Marlins, and Panthers through internships with WAXY 790 The Ticket, FSN Florida, and WPLG-TV. Highlights during his time at the “U” include working the 2009 NBA playoffs, ESPN Monday Night Football, the 2009 McDonald’s All-American Game, and broadcasting the 2008 Emerald Bowl and NCAA Super Regionals.
